Noument records what was assumed, decided, and left open, with evidence. An assumption becomes a condition, and the condition becomes an open item. When the topic returns months later, Noument brings that state back.

A transcript stores what was said. Noument knows what became of it.

After the meeting, the minutes are ready: decisions, next steps, and personal to-dos. They feed the memory for the next meeting.

Source you can open
Every factual cue is bound to evidence you can open: a document passage, minutes, or an earlier decision. Without evidence, there is no factual cue.
Recency
Evidence carries a date and validity. Noument does not present outdated information as current.
Private
Cues and personal notes are visible only to the individual user. The transcript and minutes are shared for the meeting.
Project-scoped
Documents belong to a project and are visible to its members. Noument does not carry over permissions from other systems.
Contractually defined
Before use, we sign a GDPR data processing agreement with you. It sets data flows, service providers, retention, and deletion.

How is Noument different from notetakers and Microsoft Copilot?
Notetakers record what was said. Copilot answers when someone asks, and its Facilitator moderates in view of everyone. Noument speaks up unprompted in the decision moment, privately to the person using it, with knowledge from earlier meetings and project documents. If there is nothing reliable, Noument stays silent.
Where does Noument get its knowledge from?
From documents you add to a project, such as contracts and concepts as PDF, Word, or Markdown, and from transcripts, minutes, and decisions of earlier meetings with Noument. You decide which documents belong. Every cue points to its evidence.
What does Noument listen to, and what is stored?
A participant named Noument joins the Teams meeting and is visible to everyone. Audio is converted to text live. Noument does not store audio recordings. It stores the transcript, the minutes, and the project memory. We agree retention and deletion with you before use.
How does Noument handle the GDPR?
Noument Labs GmbH is based in Germany. We process personal data on your behalf under Art. 28 GDPR, based on a data processing agreement with you. The product follows data minimization: cues are private, Noument does not store audio recordings, and content stays within its project.
Does the whole team need to use Noument?
No. It works starting with individual owners who receive cues. Everyone else only sees the participant Noument in the participant list. The rest of the meeting continues unchanged.
What happens when Noument has no reliable evidence?
Then Noument marks the cue as uncertain or holds it back. It shows confidence only where evidence supports it.
